Bon Appetit! (USA)

This mad comic catches fruits & vegetables on his face. Trying to open the wine he ends up in a one-arm handstand on top of the bottle. It's culinary slapstick, challenging and enchanting, Bon Appetit! gives the audience food for thought and laughter for the belly.

This solo show features Joe Dieffenbacher, a former circus clown and elephant jumper, co-founder of Los Payasos Mendigos, and the Abbotts of Unreason. A master teacher in the art of Clown, Mask Performance & Design, and Slapstick-Acrobatics, he has taught at the Dell'Arte School in California, workshops at the Teater Studion, Stockholm, the Belfast Community Circus, and universities in North America and Europe. Joe is also well-known in Europe and North America as a gifted director of physical/visual theatre.
