JEREMY ELWOOD (Canada)
Since moving to New Zealand, over 10 years ago, Jeremy Elwood has firmly established himself as one of the rising stars of the NZ Comedy circuit. Combining biting social commentary with music, song and devastating delivery, his unique blend of audience rapport and rock n’ roll showmanship promise to enrapture audiences at this year’s World Buskers Festival.
Jeremy has appeared on numerous televised series in NZ including Pulp Comedy. He has toured with John Rowles (yes, that John Rowles), been nominated for a Billy T Award and has hosted his own show on TV3 entitled ‘The Bits In Between with Jeremy Elwood.’
You can catch Jeremy from January 22 to 26 as the MC at our new comedy series, WBF Sumner Stand-Up, located by the sea at the Sumner Community Centre.
