After her huge debut at the festival in 2012 the hilarious Urzila Carlson returns to host Hirepool NOTHING BUT STAND UP (R18). The South African born New Zealand comic is a relative newcomer to the comedy scene. She took to the stage for the first time in 2008 and has since racked up an impressive array of awards for her stand up including ‘Best Female Comedian’ at the 2010 and 2011 NZ Comedy Guild Awards.

She has made numerous TV appearances on shows such as A Night at the Classic, The Comedy Christmas Cracker with Rhys Darby, AotearoHA!, The Jono Project and of course she tames the boys as a regular panellist on TV3’s hit show 7 Days. Urzila was also invited to be part of the hugely successful 7 Days Live NZ Tour.
